Want to know what to do when the produce starts coming in faster than you can possibly eat it? This class will give an overview of all the various types of food preservation available to bring summer's bounty into your winter diet. See for yourself that "putting food by" is not only doable but fun and safe.
Amanda Hewitt holds a degree in food service and nutrition from Morrisville. She brings extensive experience in food and nutrition education, including 14 years with Cornell Cooperative Extension, and 17 years of experience at Nelson Farms / Morrisville College as a food product developer and kitchen manager.
